Stock locations: binders, cases, boxes and shelves
Where every card lives. A binder, display case, box or shelf is a real place, not a label for one show: a card has one home, it keeps its pocket whether the binder is on the shelf or on a table at a trade show, and closing a show brings the stock count home without moving anything. From Stock control in the menu, open the Stock locations tab.
It is part of Stock control because it is about where stock is kept. Trade shows use it too: packing a show is ticking whole locations on the show's Stock tab. It is there on every plan with Stock control or trade shows, for staff who can Set up stock locations & file cards into them.
Adding a location
Add a location adds each one with a Name, a Kind and a shape — a binder has pages of pockets (9-pocket, 12-pocket or your own rows and columns) and takes raw singles only, a display case is one grid, a box or a shelf has no layout; slabs, sealed and accessories live in cases, boxes and shelves — filter the list by kind, and open one to flick through its pages with the arrows, the keyboard or by dragging a page over. Put cards in under the pages finds stock (tick Nowhere yet to work through what has no home) and files it in the next free pockets. Arrange by set lays a binder out newest set first, each set starting top-left of a fresh page with its name in the first pocket; double-click a divider to rename or remove it; Swap two pockets moves a card by hand. A binder grows a page whenever it needs one. A slab, a sealed product or an accessory never fits a binder — anything that does not fit is listed underneath with a Move to a case, a box or a shelf, one at a time or all at once. A card that sells out stays in its pocket marked Sold, so a gap in the binder is never a mystery, until another card needs the pocket or it is restocked.
Click a card in its pocket for its menu: set the price, or let it follow the market — the box says what that price is and where it came from: recent eBay sold prices for that condition when there are any, else the daily price guide, with your market % and rounding applied. A pocket shows ▲ or ▼ when your own price is further off that figure than the warning threshold under ⚙ Market pricing on Catalogue ▸ Buy & sell config, and the menu says by how much. Correct how many you have — the stock count, or the number in the box while it is at a show — move it to another container, Move to another pocket (the card follows your cursor while you turn to any page and click the pocket; Esc cancels), take it out so it has no home, or open the product. The chart icon on the card opens its sold prices. Click an empty pocket to put a card there or set a divider.
