Picking what goes in the box

Help centre · In your shop

This tab is where you say what is travelling with you. Your cards live in binders, display cases and boxes (set up and filled under Stock control ▸ Stock locations), so packing a show is ticking the ones you are taking and pressing Take the ticked ones — every card in them comes off the website until the show closes. Put the ticked ones back reverses it. A location that is already at another show has to be put back there first, and an empty one cannot be taken.

For a few extra cards off the shelf, open Add odd cards: find them with the filters (game, set, rarities, condition, grader and grade), tick them, say which binder, case or box they will live in, and take one of each or every copy — they are filed there and come along with it.

Where your cards live

Binders, cases, boxes and shelves are set up and filled under Stock control ▸ Stock locations, because a card keeps its pocket whether the binder is on the shelf or on a table in Derby.

The show's manifest then reads Binder 2 · p.6 · 3 beside each card, grouped by where it lives, and the phone shows the same on every tile.

Taking stock removes it from the website there and then — that is the point of the screen, not a side effect. Nobody can order a card online that is sitting in your car, and the till back at the shop cannot sell it either. In stock is what is left at the shop and At the show is what is in the box; together they are everything you own.

Where a card isWhat the website does with it
At the shopOn sale as normal
At the showNot offered at all — not "reserved", not "low stock"

Every take and put-back saves immediately; there is no Save button on this tab.

In the box

The list underneath is the manifest — what is actually going, and what happened to it.

TakenHow many you picked off the shelf
Bought inHow many joined the box at the show, bought over the table
LeftHow many are still in the box right now — what is coming home

Put back returns a line to website stock before you leave. Once you are at the show you will not need it — closing the show brings back everything still in the box in one go, so nothing has to be put back by hand at the end.

You cannot take more than you have. If the number in stock has changed since you searched — a website order, a sale at the till — the take is refused and tells you how many are really left, rather than quietly taking the shop below zero.

Once the show is closed this tab stops being editable and becomes the record of what went.
