Card payments at a show

The Card payments tab says where every reader is. The account itself — the SumUp details the till uses too — and the readers are set up on one page for the whole shop: press Set up card payments. Individual readers are assigned to individual shows on each show's own Card reader tab.

You do not need any of this to run a show. Without it a card sale is still recorded against the show, in the ledger, in the takings and against your plan allowance — you just take the money on your own machine and tell the phone it was paid.

SumUp account

One account for the whole shop — the same details the till uses. It is entered on Card payments, and Save SumUp there checks the details with SumUp as it saves them.

Your readers

Every reader you have paired, and where it is right now: At a show, On a till, or Unassigned. Read-only — a reader is moved by assigning it, on the show's Card reader tab or on Card payments.

Empty to begin with. You pair your first reader from a show's Card reader tab, or on Card payments.
