Loyalty points. Only shown if points are part of your plan.
Points are not spent at the checkout. They are earned automatically on every paid order, online and at the till — and customers then convert them into store credit from their own account. The credit is what pays. So a shopper never sees "use my points" at checkout, and that is deliberate: one balance pays for things, and points feed it.
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Points earned per 1.00 spent | The earn rate. Leave it blank and nothing accrues, which is a perfectly good way to leave the feature off while you think about it. |
| Points per block and Store credit per block | The exchange rate — e.g. 100 points → £1. Customers convert in whole blocks; the remainder stays in their balance rather than being rounded away. |
| Minimum points before converting | A floor before they can convert at all. 0 means as soon as they have one whole block. |
What never earns points
Shipping, gift cards and store credit. Postage is not a sale, and letting a gift card or credit earn points would mean the same money earning twice.
Worked example
"1% back." Points per 1.00 spent 1 · Points per block
100 · Store credit per block 1 · Minimum 0.
A £45 order earns 45 points. At 100 points they convert £1 of credit and keep the remaining points
towards the next pound.
Every movement shows on the customer's own record, so you can always answer "where did my points go?" — see Customers.
