Help centre · Setting up your shop

Who your shop is and where it is. These details print on invoices, show on your contact page, and decide how tax is worked out — so this is the tab to get right before you trade.

The Store details panel with name, contact details and full address

Store details

FieldWhat to put
NameYour trading name. It heads your invoices and, until you upload a logo, your storefront.
Email / PhoneHow customers reach you. The email is what your contact page and order emails point at, so use one somebody reads.
AddressYour real trading address. It goes on invoices, which is a legal requirement for a VAT invoice — not a decoration.

Country — the field that does the most

It is not decoration. Country decides how VAT is worked out on every sale you ever make: your home rate, EU OSS for a shopper elsewhere in the EU, or zero-rated for an export. Set it before you take an order, because changing it later does not go back and re-tax the orders you have already sold.

what3words

Optional, and genuinely useful if you are up an alley or on an industrial estate where the postcode drops people in the wrong car park. It sits alongside your address on the contact page.

Opening hours

Free text per day, written exactly as you want it read — "10am – 6pm", "Closed", "12–8, late night Thursday". Nothing parses it, so there is no format to get wrong, and equally nothing closes your shop automatically at 6. It is a sign in the window, not a schedule.

Social

Full URLs to your Facebook, Twitter/X and Instagram — the whole https://… address, not a handle. Leave a box blank and that icon simply does not appear, so a shop with one account does not get two dead links.
