Wizard: card by card
The Particular cards mode. Instead of a rule that keeps working forever, this writes a price onto each card in the set — and a price on a card beats every rule you have for the game or the set.
You still don't type three hundred prices. You write a handful of rules that pick cards, and the wizard applies them.
The tally across the top
so many cards · so many targeted · so many untargeted, updating as you type. It uses the same matching and the same order the server does, so what you are shown is what will be written.
The step opens with one empty rule row, and an empty rule matches everything — Any rarity, Any type, no price band. So the tally will read 0 untargeted before you have typed a thing. That is correct, not a glitch: narrow the row, and the untargeted count climbs.
A rule row
| Column | What to put |
|---|---|
| Rarity / Type | Narrow to one, or leave on Any. |
| Worth from / to | A band on what the card is worth. A card with no market value can never satisfy a band — it is not treated as zero, it simply doesn't match. |
| You pay | % of market, Fixed price, or Never buy. Choose Never buy and the money boxes go quiet rather than inviting a number that would be thrown away. |
| Cash / Credit | The percentage, or the amount, depending on the above. |
| Want | How many of each matching card you'll hold. |
| Matches | A live count. Click it to see exactly which cards — name, rarity, type and what each is worth. |
Add a rule for another row, Remove to drop one. There is always at least one row.
First match wins — so order matters
Rules are read top down and the first one to match a card claims it. Put the narrow rules above the broad ones, or a rule saying "any rarity over £20" at the top will eat the mythics you meant to price separately underneath.
These prices are for…
Tick the languages these prices apply to. This matters more than it looks: without it, a price meant for English is written against every language the card was printed in, and a refusal meant for English refuses the Italian printing too. Only languages the set was printed in and that you sell are offered, and a card is only priced in a language it actually exists in.
Everything you don't tick carries on following your game and set rules.
Seeing only English here when you expected more? The languages a shop deals in are set under Settings ▸ Payment, and this panel is the intersection of that list with what the set was actually printed in.
The cards no rule covers
Asked, never assumed. The count in the heading is a link — click it to see exactly which cards you are about to decide for. Four answers:
| Answer | What happens to them |
|---|---|
| Leave them exactly as they are | Nothing is written. They keep whatever they have — a card price if they had one, your rules if they didn't. The safe default. |
| Never buy them | Every remaining card in the set is refused. The blunt way to run a set you only want the good cards from. |
| Pay a % of market / Pay a fixed price | They all get that price, at the Cash / Credit / Want figures beside the picker. |
The Cash, Credit and Want boxes go grey and empty themselves when you pick Leave them or Never buy them — there is nothing to pay, so the wizard stops inviting a number it would throw away.
