The buylist: how the pieces fit
The buylist is how customers sell cards to you. On the storefront they build a list of cards under Sell to us, see what you will pay in cash and in credit, and submit it; in here you check the cards in when they arrive and pay them out. Needs the Buylist feature.
The four tabs
| Tab | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Queue | The lists customers have submitted, and where you check them in and pay out. This page. |
| Buy prices | Card by card: what you pay for one exact printing, in each language, or never buy it. Only for the cards you want to treat differently. |
| Policy | Your default buy price: the master switch that puts Sell to us on the storefront, the value limits, and the Default rates — a percentage of market price per condition, cash and credit. Everything not priced elsewhere is bought at these rates. |
| Buylist Wizard | Different rates for a whole game, or one set, or particular cards in a set — answered as a handful of questions, written as rules you can read back on the Policy tab. |
Which price wins
The most specific rule wins: a price written on a card beats a set rule, a set rule beats a game rule, and a game rule beats the shop default. So to change what you pay for everything, change the Default rates on Policy; to change one set, use the wizard; to change one card, use Buy prices.
The queue
Lists customers have offered to sell you, filtered by state:
- Submitted — waiting for you. This is the working queue and the default view.
- Completed — checked in and paid out.
- Cancelled — abandoned or rejected outright.
The search box finds a list by its reference or the customer's name or email, within the tab you are on.
Open a list to check it in line by line. The customer sees the prices your buy policy quoted when they built it, so the figures here are what you already promised.
